I have a 2000 ford ranger xlt 4x4 with a 4.0 v6- and a 5r55e Tran. The transmission slips and rev's up about 1000 rpms when shifting from second to third gear. Ive seen other posts on this topic and was recommended the first gear braking test. I tried it and have no first gear slowing kind of like its in neutral. Do you think I blew the valve body gasket or maybe a shift solenoid or bands are bad?
