28 to a 35 ttb?

i'm swapping to the 35 on my 84 ranger and i was wondering which tie rods am i going to have to use. the 28s or the 35s tie rods??

Where did you get the dana 35 from?

You can use the Dana 28 tie rods, but you will have to use the Dana 35 tie rod ends.

the drag link is also different, you need to use the complete linkage from a D35.

when I put the Dana 35 in my BII, I used the Dana 28 links without any problems. Just sayin.

You'll have much better (safer) thread engagement at the tierod adjusting sleeves if you use the D35 linkage though.

I used the drag links for a explorer and the outter tie rod ends off the d28.
