1992 Ranger supercab, 302 from a 1989 f-150 4speed. I am looking for a new flywheel because the one off the f-150 is 164 tooth and I need a 157 to clear the t5 bellhousing. Most of the flywheels that I've seen are 50oz. ,but there are a few that are 28 oz.

How do I determine which one I need????:dntknw:

i woud get the heavier one, unless your building a race truck.

Ditto, you need the 50 oz imbalance flywheel for an 89 motor. The changeover occured sometime in the early 80's, either in 81 or 82. All 5.0's since used the 50 oz/in balance flywheel/flexplate.
