I have a 2000 4x4 Ford Ranger, right now it has 245/75/16 tires on it. I bought a set of 235/85/16 tires for my F250 a little while ago ,and times are a little tougher now. I'm thinking of taking the 235/85s and putting them on the Ranger. Anybody out there running that size tire on a Ranger? If so how do you like it? Does it look too narrow on the stock alloy Ranger wheels? Thanks for any help!

I have been running the LT235/85R16E tires on my 1999 Ranger for about 3 years now. I ended up having a set of snow tires left after selling my F250 and I needed tires for the winter after I bought the truck. Put them on and they were great. Once spring came around I bought another set of them for summer in the same size. They are about 1" taller so will make your speedometer off a little bit. I really like them on mine. Oh and no I do not think they look too narrow on the stock alloy rims. That is what I have mine on. Hope that helps.
