What kind of activities are planned? I'm assuming some offroad, is it places that a 2wd could go carefully or sure enough ORV type stuff. Pretty certain I'm going to be driving the F-150 if I make it, just not confident the ranger would make it, even the brakes have decided to quit on me now. Forrest service road type stuff isn't an issue, but I'm not taking it on any sure enough trails. If we're going into an offroad park, I'd probably trailer my 4 wheeler up and leave the truck at the trail head.

IF anyone goes off-roading that hard it'll likely be a sub-group. I think some members are expecting to come in 2wd trucks. Maybe even a rental.

Curious Hound is pretty good at being inclusive to everyone involved.

Last year, we did a forest road or two but the majority of the trip was sight seeing on paved roads.

Forest roads are G2G. The F-150 is a 4wd, but want to avoid the redneck pinstriping and other "off road" related damage for as long as possible.

Sightseeing on paved and forest service roads. This is aimed at being all-inclusive.

With that being said, I haven't been there myself yet. I research it as best as I can. If we get to a place where we need to turn around because it's too rough, too deep, too narrow through the brush or anything like that, we will turn around. I have no problems with that. This is supposed to be fun and relaxing.

That is normally reserved for the week long big event of the year, and only if you want to. Several groups will break out into which adventure they are most interested in. Most of the others, unless it is a regional get together, are more geared toward trying to including the RWD crowd. Even the week long big event has something for the RWD crowd. We don't want to have anyone feel left out or not wanting to attend because of off roading being the only choice.
