2021 Ranger Seat Platform

Hello I have a 21 Lariat with electric seats. I am just a little too tall. Does anyone know if the drivers seat platform can be moved back 2 inches?
local dealer says no.

Based off memory and I’m at work, I think the floor has raised areas where the seat bolts to the floor. If I’m correct, it can’t be done without some fabrication work. Under the seat where the track bolts to the seat would be the same and vehicle seats typically don’t have enough room to move the mount much.

So, unless you are good at fabrication work, you would be looking at paying someone some cash to do it for you.

You must be SUPER tall, I'm 6'2 and I think I still have a "click" or two left in rearward adjustment on my manual seats.

I would imagine you could make some relocation brackets if you really wanted to.


You could also try out a truck with a manual seat, and see if that fees any better, they may sit at a different height or something. Could swap in some manual seats if you like the position better.
