As the the title says, 2013 suburban and the owner says the "service suspension" warning has been on since they bought the truck 2 years ago. Now the stability control light flashes once in a while. (I just offroaded the hell out of it lol)

I know nothing about GM and my non forscan stuff won't read gm abs/suspension/traction info.

So, i know there are trucks with ride height sensors, steering angle sensors etc that effect the stability control system. The customer likes the stability control nonsense for some reason, says its slipping in the rain now Is the suspension warning light a maintenance light like a change oil light (like it goes off at say 75k just to remind you to get new shocks). Or is it a sensor is actually reading an error? Im not really working on this thing so not investing much in it either way. Just curious if anyone knows what this truck has for suspension sensors.

Just set it on fire now and save everyone a lot of trouble and money.

peice of black tape on the dash light can fix any indicator light. Seems like a fancy feature for a suburban, an escalade Id expect such crap. Probably some damn computer and/or sensor glitch.

I think they had Autoride suspensions available in them since long before 2013. My roommate in school's parents had one that had to have been older than that. If I recall correctly, Autoride is an air suspension setup. If it's anything like the one I had on my 4th Gen Ram, the set it on fire idea is actually not a bad one.

Kill it with fire.

The insurance money can buy a Ford.
