2013 C-Maxx opinions

The Murano is on the same FWD platform as the Altima, which is why it also uses the CVT transaxle that the Altima gets.

The FX35 is on the RWD platform shared with the G and Z series cars.

:)
Don’t you start that shit again!!!:ROFLMAO:

Panther platform cars. TC/GM/Crown vic. Mid 20mpg, cheap, reliable, full frame, V8, easy to fix.....

Fixed it.
My 99 got 23 cruising 60mph.

Around town they drop pretty quick though, but still a better overall package then some 4 banger unibody shitbox.

The majority of my driving I guess would be considered rural... 50-55 for miles and miles with minimal stop&go and the best I could ever get out of it.. and I tried... was 19 or 20. This was after switching from the heavy cop wheels to mustang bullits as well.

Not completely awful though still, considering a v8 and 2 tons.

He's looking for something newer. With some technology in it. Like a back up monitor/GPS display. He took a ride in my Santa Fe and fell in love with the Lane keeping Assist and adaptive Cruise Control. He drives a lot and these help make long road trips a little easier.

Hey, he's trying to keep me straight on Nissan platforms and drivetrains. Their lines are much more blurry than I'm used to.

I think my MPG expectations and those of others arnt always the same.

To me 20-22mpg is excellent. To others its ridiculious.

My next DD will pry be a panther. Yes i could buy something in the same price range (under 5k) that would get 35-40 but like i said....i dont want FWD, unibody or 4 cylinders....so im basically stuck with a panther or another small truck...which if i buy another ranger/colorado the wife will be on my ass to off rusty. Which i dont wanna do.

Pops has had plenty of Panthers. He just got rid of his old '98 Grand Marquis, he's had a '00Crown Vic at one point and I drove a Town Car for almost 5 years. I love and even suggested one to him, he wants smaller, easier to park than his F150, and some modern technology. He is actually welcoming the change on the auto industry. He still is amazed at his Lincoln Continental's floor mats that locked into place. Until he rode on my Hyundai, that was " modern " tech. I told him every car on the planet since 1999 had floor mats like that. It's like he's been asleep for 30 years and waking up to this whole new world of automotive ingenuity.
