Since the ranger will be discontinued and mine being the first year they were made, that should make the value go up a few bucks![]()

Yes!!! Time to reap the benefits of a dear departed Ranger series that has been around since late '82. I bought an '83 4x4 out in California back in 84 with very low mileages and lifted it then and wheeled it and brought back to Tampa when I got stationed back here again. I kept it for over 9 years and had no issues with it.
I bought my 99 Ranger new in July off 99. It still looks great. 3 months ago I went with a buddy to pick up his new F250 Supercab and the sales manager came over to talk to us. He saw my Ranger in the parking lot and said it was sharp a really sharp looking truck. He asked us if we saw the owner park it. I told him it was mine. He spent about 20 minutes looking it over inside and out. He gave me his card and said if I wanted to sell it sometime soon give him a call. He wants it for his son.
I told him it's been regularly maintained I have all the service records for it. He said he would give me $6,000 that day for it. I told him it's not for sale, but I will let him know if I did think about selling it. So I felt pretty good about a sales manager at a Ford dealership checking over my Ranger and offering to buy it.
