2011 or 12 t6 already out?

I think I remember seeing that before...but it's pretty late here and I'm pretty drunk. I could just be imagining seeing that ugly piece of crap before.

Been around before. It's a test mule with a Mazda front end, look closely and you can see the emblem.

Can you say "MO'FO'n' FUGLY!!!!!!"? I would go buy a Dakota before even testdriving that POS. If I wanted a Toyota, then I would go BUY a Toyota, not a piss-poor clone wanna-be thing.

I dont think Ford should quit making the Ranger. I dont honestly think it will last long though. They will bring em back like they did the camaro.

Am I alone when I say that the current model of ranger is a very good looking, clean, manly looking truck, and there is absolutely no need to change the exterior?

That is nothing like what it would actually look like.

Love the look. In a perfect world, we'd get the same body style...only larger.

I like the look of the new ones also. Don't think there has been any real news on the 2011 Ranger in months, everyone still guessing. Maybe the Detroit Auto show?

Disagree. I like the Ranger in the size that it's in. It's the only real small truck left. If I wanted something bigger, there's plenty of choice out there, from mid-size (tacoma, dakota) to full-size.

My favorite Ranger attribute is its small size. So Ford, just leave it as is. Maybe give it a little more refinement. Oh, and an off-road package without having to go with upscale interior. I love the vinyl floor in my sport, but I wish it had up-rated shocks and tires, as well as an LSD. But that's all you really need to do.

I respect you opinion, and everyone is going to have a unique opinion, but I disagree. Even the S-10/Sonoma had a deeper box and, at least just by eyeballing, more room in the extended cab. The Ranger is just a few inches too small in each direction for it not to annoy me all the time.

I can't even fit my new Traxxas Summit behind the seat, and in the shallow bed, the antenna gets crushed by my tonneau cover. I still have to buy a quick-release for the front tire of my mountain bike so I can fit the damn thing in the bed. Even my camera backpack, I still have to move the seat forward to get it in the back. It annoys me because I feel that shouldn't be necessary in a 4-door, extended cab pickup.

I think the Dakota/Tacoma/Colorado/Canyon is closer to the Ranger size than they are to a full size, and IMO, those trucks are by no means too big.

Still love the Ranger, though. And I wouldn't trade it for any of the mid size trucks on the market right now. And the current size is great for wheeling.

JAay, one thing I noticed is that the 2 door SuperCab with the side jump seats is a lot bigger in the back. Having access to the back is nice but there is a lot more room suprisingly. I drive my 2dor S/cab and compare it to my work truck: 2006 4 door s/cab and while the access is nice there is a lot of room gone by those seats and the bigger door panels.

If the Ranger grows it should only go a couple inches in each direction tops.

I too like the Ranger in it's current size, and I hope Ford doesn't make it bigger. Come summer when it's time to purchase a new vehicle I have it narrowed down to a XLT 2-door supercab 4 cyl. 4X2, or a Nissan Frontier SE kingcab 4 cyl. 4X2. I like the fact that Nissan offers access doors to the rear with the 4 cyl. I wouldn't mine if Ford offered only one access door like the old Saturn car. The Ranger does offer more standard equipment for the price though. I guess it all comes down to who is willing to deal at the time.

I think they should base it on the current explorer frame(platfrom), and have "re-design" the sport trac to where the cab is more like a truck cab and call the sport trac, ranger sport track as the four door ranger, and add a powerful 4 banger as a base engine, and the top engine being the new 5.0(or even the 4.6).

I'm don't know if you're looking at new or used, but I'm pretty sure that the Ranger is only available as a supercab with the V6. Only way you can get a 4 cyl is to go with the single cab.
