2010 Ranger gets FACTORY rear disc brakes

I checked into the mustang brakes, they are different.

And the whole rear axle in the ranger is different. The tubes are not a uniform size the whole length, they bulge out, the flange is different. And im going to guess that they probably stuck the 31 splines in it. I cant gaurentee that tho.

As for the 2009 and newer rear brakes, whats wrong with the setup on the old crown vics? The flange will be the same and everything will bolt up. If i get some free time, I have a 92 crown rear axle and the rangers stock rear axle. I could try swaping things over to trial fit it.

I was wondering if you happen to get the chance to take a look at the Crown Vic Brakes? I would like to switch to Disck's on my 03 ranger edge. I hate messing with drums! ERRRR :icon_confused:

I have a 2010 and the discs are totally different than the sploders.. I'm looking into making the swap on wifes '02 FX4. Those FX4 8.8s are like a shorty sploder 8.8. Large bearing plates and non-sweged tubes. Not to mention the 31 splines.

I'll post what I find out!

This is all I could find with a quick google search
