It's been a long time! So long that my bed rusted out, I couldn't find a replacement in any kind of decent shape, so I converted to a flatbed. Pics will come when it's done :)

It's a 2009 4.0L 4x4 XLT.

With the bed went the stock tail lights. I am having a heck of a time figuring out how to wire up a universal LED tail light to this truck.

What does NOT work is the running/parking lights.

At the truck harness/wiring I have (had) 5 conductors. They are discoloured from age, but I believe they are:
- Gray
- Purple
- Yellow
- Brown-Yellow
- Black-Yellow

The universal LED lights I am using have four wires:
- Red: Brake/turn
- Yellow: reverse
- Black: running/tail lights
- White: ground

Does anyone have any suggestion on how this should be wired?

The temporary magnetic lights I was using (towing lights) had all the functionality I needed, except reverse.

Grey is the Ford running/tail lights. So that would go to the black on each of your LED's

Black/yellow is the Ford ground. So that would go to the white LED wires.

Purple is Ford Left turn/stop. This will go to the red wire on the left LED.

Yellow is the Ford Right turn/stop. This will go to the red wire on the right LED light.

Brown/yellow is the Ford reverse light wire. This wire will go to both yellow wires on the LED lights.
