New to the forum. I am an older automotive guy with lots of experience in automotive parts, machine shop and early years of obd 1 and 2. Bought a 08 Ford Ranger about 3 years ago because the durability and value was as good as a Toyota but half the price. Rangers will be a desirable classic to own in the coming years in my opinion as they are beginning to hold value as they age. My history also includes the restoration of a 1929 Ford Model A
pick up truck (early predesessor to the Ranger as I happen to like smaller trucks). I just acquired some factory bed rails from an 05 ranger. If anyone needs info on how to salvage the lower brackets with seized or broken bolts let me know.
