I have been using Google and am only finding other generation models or V6 info. If somebody could give me an idea of were to look I would appreciate it.

Im not sure about the B2300 but my '08 4L has a temp sensor on the driver side of the block and a temp sender on the thermostat housing. maybe the B2300 is the same?

2001 to 2011 B2300 or Ranger 2.3l DOHC doesn't use a ECT sensor, it uses a CHT(cylinder head temp) sensor instead
Located between spark plugs 2 and 3 in the valve cover

Need a deep socket to remove and replace, 19mm I think
