I have a 2007 Ford Ranger and was curious as to whether there is a reason there is no inner splash shield on the driver's side. It seems that this would leave the engine compartment open to debris. I have a '95 Mazda B2300 that has an inner shield that covers the swing arm and engine compartment. Why is there a difference? If anyone can enlighten me on this and maybe suggest where I can find a driver's side inner shield, I really appreciate it. Thanks, rawk74

When I bought my 2005 I noticed the same thing. I made them put on a splash shield before I picked it up. The salesman put the sheild on but told me that he had to put one on for the passenger side becaouse there was not a part number for the drivers side and the Ranger did not come with one. It didn't matter, the shield works anyway.
