2006 reg cab 2wd rough ride

I have had a 2006 reg cab 2.3 auto 2wd that has a rough ride. we have owned it for about 4 years now and over the weekend I replaced lower ball joints, new upper control arms w/ ball joints, sway bar endlinks, and all new shocks front and back. proper air pressure in 6 ply tires and still rides like a dump truck. anyone else noticed a harsh ride? I don't remember being in another ranger and noticing how bad it rode? thanks!

new shocks may be stiffer, that has a big effect on ride harshness.
How much is proper air pressure? I run 30 with 235/75-15 tires.
6 ply tires???? on a 3000 lb Ranger that's going to ride like a truck for sure.
get on the Tirerack site, select your brand & size and see how much those things weigh. factory tires were only about 27 lbs.
what kind of wheels, alloy or steel? big weight difference there too.
