2006 Ranger FX4 Level II

So, not much progress. Haven't been able to get much overtime and its insurance pay time.

I will have to get the transfer cade figured out before winter.

And I really should do upper control arms as my ball joints are shot. But I don't really wanna do that, and just rip em out when I do the swap next summer.

35's for mock up lol

I could have fit it inside but I had tools, car spare, etc. Do what ya gotta do!

Oh yeah I couldn't fit the 4th tire in mine. They were 38.5x14.5 swamper boggers. Yep I agree.

Update folks, not going to be doing am SAS on this truck. Decided to do a first gen up. This truck will stay as is for now. If I still have this truck in 5 or so years, I'll do long travel on it.

Tossed on a cap for my truck this past weekend! will be nice to keep the snow out and for camping come summer.

figured I'd toss in some new pics. Loving the duratracs on the packed snow and ice. They arent as good as the old mud terrains in deep stuff though. Kinda dissapointed in that but hey, they work alright.

Also finally got the camping build started!

Empty bed, cleaned it out and took some measurements.

Cut the plywood to length and width, then cut out the spaces for the bulges in the side of the bed.

First test fit to make sure the cut outs lined up, all good! time to cut more supports.

The rest of the supports ready.

Now that all those are cut out, time to screw them on.

Another test fit to make sure things are still good.

Time for the side piece of plywood, I went taller with this piece, so it can hold the foam pad from sliding off the side.

I'm going to leave this end open, so I can store things like my shovel, axe, and hi lift underneath.

And thats the sleeping platorm! super easy, it's really light, and it's dead simple to remove it by myself.
