2006 Ranger FX4 Level II

Truck's looking good man. When do you think the axle is going to go in?

The d30? Not till next year at the earliest. I'm gong to slowly build it up as I have cash to do so. Nothing wrong with the ifs aside from something bent on the driver side, but its not a huge issue as I don't drive it often anymore.

So I'll work on the axle over winter, start gathering all the parts I need for it, then when I have time slap it all together. Still plenty of research to do.

Gotcha, I've got a d44 and d60 from an f250 that I bought a few months ago that I'm slowly getting parts for. Should look pretty sweet when you get yours all done!

Nice, eventually in many many years I hope to have it on 60's front and back. With 42's.

But that's so far down the road.

Lol thanks. I wouldn't say its amazing. There are a lot of nicer rigs on this site.

But its pretty nice IMO.

Frame clean up.

Took it for a spin, let it all settle, and measured the added height.

With removing the stock 2" block, I still gained 2.5". Probably end up being 3" with the bed back on. As these ones don't sag as much making ride height taller.

Rides nice, still have to test droop for new shocks.

Bed back on. Rides so nice with all the stuff in the bed.

Need to test then articulation now. Did a small test at home, but its got so much more now.

Yeah now your shocks are gonna limit your travel. Time for longer shocks!

Yep. Going to grab some 12" travel shocks. About 18 compressed and 30 extended. Should work good.

Nice! Is that axle a low pinion? I can't tell from the pic

That your new dana 30?
