2005 mustang 4.0l

are the 2005 mustang 4.0l engines the same as the truck 4.0l? im looking to do an engine swap in my 2004 3.0l ranger and it needs to be a newer engine than the truck and also needs to be the same displacement or smaller than the biggest available for that vehicle. so thanks to ny 4.0l is the biggest i can go.

Yes they are the same. Things like manifolds and sensors may be different but it's the same basic engine.
