2004 FX4 Off Road

Just cruising thru the forum and seen the Rare Ranger area. Just wondering, how rare is the FX4 Off Road. I know the level II is less common, but it would be cool to know I own a somewhat desirable truck.

Don't know about that year but there were 5795 FX4 Level 2's. Got that data from a Marti Report on mine.

Is that 5795 total for all years or just the year of your truck?

According to the info I found here Ford Ranger FX4 Off-Road and Level II – By The Years

The FX4 Level II was not sold (or offered) as a flareside (stepside). Only the 2003-2004 FX4 Off-Road models had a flareside option.

And mine is a flareside, only offered for 2 years in the FX4 Off Road.

03 FX4 Level II

In '04 the straight FX4 Off Road was just a sticker/shock/skidplate package.

Given it is 13 years old the shocks probably either have been replaced or need to be replaced so you just have the stickers and maybe skidplates over a generic 4x4.

A nice clean truck would have a leg up over a generic truck but I don't think the base FX4 is going to really draw much value to it on its own.
