2004 3L A/T DTCs

[5Rangers]

Check Eng light came on, scanner produced a code 300-Random Misfire. The plugs are original with 94k on them so I replace with OEM platinum's. Ran it a day and all good. The light came on today just after start up and is showing a code 316-Misfire in first 1000 eng revs.

I think Ive encountered this before on my older ranger and jumped on the coil pack but in the end it turned out to be a bad injector.

Anyone have any wisdom for troubleshooting?

The manual say to check " Injector Driver PIDS" not sure what those are, any clues?
