Well. As I said before.. my truck got gradually harder to shift into gear, starting with first and reverse being the hardest. It happens randomly but more often than not it is a tough shift and sometimes wont even jam in at all. Sometimes it will go in smoothly though.

Took it to a place, they couldn't even bleed the clutch because there was a peice of debris stuck in the line. They replaced the line and bled it and gave it back and it shifted perfect, 3 days later same problem that gradually gets worse. Shifts badly starting with first and reverse. Problem is more prevalent going slower.

Is there another piece of junk in my clutch lines causing this so soon after it was fixed? Do I have a dirty trans filter somehow getting junk into my clutch lines? I might ask to have trans filter replaced? Is a gear tooth floating around in my trans? Orr do I have a complete different problem.

I'm wondering the the pilot bearing is going out, or possiby the slave cylinder. Pull the inspection cover, and see if there's a pool of brake fluid at the bottom of the bellhousing.

If not, my money would be on the pilot bearing.

How much would a pilot bearing run me anyone know?

Turns out that nothing major needed to be replaced.. there was a piece of junk inside the line and the clutch could not even be bled because of it and that is being replaced. :)

Which will hopefully fix it. Haha

Bump.

Edited main post because my problem returned after 3 days it was fixed. Another piece of junk in my clutch lines?

how is the fluid level in your clutch master cylinder? If it's low it may be leaking. The debris could have been a piece of the seal around the cylinder piston.

The transmission fluid and clutch fluid aren't connected in any way. All there is is a master cylinder, a slave cylinder, and a hydraulic line between them.

I'm not really the one to examine my truck.. but, they told me that my master and slave were in good condition and replaced fairly recently. They went through it apparently and they replaced the hydraulic line because they couldnt get the piece of junk out of it, it fixed it, but problem came back about 2 days later. Master cylinder was replaced about a month before i bought the truck. I don't know about the fluid level. I'm gonna take it in pretty soon though and see what they say..

Any other ideas? They told me they will re examine the clutch and there might be a possibility when master cylinder was installed they did it wrong or badly so that will be checked out? or does someone know whats up?
