I wanna do a 5.0 swap keeping the RWD. What exsactly do I need.

Welcome to TRS 
Buying a 1996/97 Ford Explorer with V8(5.0l), with body damage(cheap) is best choice, 1998 to 2001 can also be used but does have PATS system that needs extra work, not a big deal.
You need the engine, trans, computer and wiring harness, plus other bits and pieces so getting whole explorer is cost effective.
