So, recently purchased my Ranger and it needs both some mechanical and cosmetic work. As far as the mechanical I was getting a couple of error codes P0171 and P0460. I replaced the mass air flow sensor which seems to have taken care of the P0171 and just replaced the fuel pump module assembly which seems to have eliminated the P0460 code. My problem is when I replaced the fuel pump 2 of the fuel line clips cracked and the pump assembly that I ordered didn't come with new ones. I GOOGLED the item, and it showed that AutoZone and a couple of other auto parts stores had the item but when went there and looked at their replacement parts they didn't really seem to match what I currently have. I was hoping that someone could lend some advice or where I might find some replacement clips. I attached a picture of which lines have the cracked clips in RED. The picture is of the old fuel pump but the new looks identical only cleaner...

Well, went back to pull a part and got an additional clip also saw where they had used the zip ties to connect the clips. I took a picture so just in case anybody else runs into the issue they can see how then went about using the zip ties at least in this example. Seems like it should work okay...

I'm just a novice around here.
But I liked your post you told us what your problem is a even gave us a picture to help us understand what's going on.

I have a 94 so my hoses/lines are different.

Tell me this however:
Can you slip a zip tie in where the clip goes and tighten up the zip tie to hold the hose/line in place?
At least for temporary purposes anyways.

Have you looked on Amazon for new clips?

Those clips are usually available in an assortment pack in the Help section

You know I believe you actually can, I was at Pull-A-Part this morning to try and get a couple of the clips got 1 but the Ranger I was getting the parts off of actually had the Zip Ties in place holding the fuel lines. I added a couple of pictures to see what they had done in case anyone else might need to use this as a fix/solution...

@malacarr thanks the update and the added pictures.

The pictures saw just what I thought could be done.
In a pinch zip ties come in handy for a lot of things.
