Hello Everyone,
I know that the 3.8 wasn't used in the Rangers, but I thought someone here might know how to read what the original bearing size was in a 3.8.
The mains have the following markings XX-AB 9 02 86-5. The rod bearings have these markings, XX-AB 9 02 94-6.
What ever happened to size markings such as STD, .10, .20.etc?
I kinda got stuck with a 2003 Windstar that suffered a light seizure. A couple of the rod bearings, and the rear main suffered very light damage, but the crank survived without harm. So the plan is to replace the bearings through out with the original size that came in the engine. So far, I haven't had much luck finding what that size is.
Thanks for any tips, or information.
