I drive a extended cab 4x4 4.0 V6 ranger, and my problem is it burns through coolant. I would fill it when i remembered but i would drive in the summer, in ohio, for maybe weeks at a time without coolant. i know it was stupid, but i worked two jobs and had a busy life. But it never once over heated and i would drive 30 minutes at a time at 60-80mph can anyone tell me what the problem is? Or atleast help you?

intake gasket

Sounds like a upper/lower intake gasket problem. It maybe leaking and burning through the intake. Had a Bonneville that did the same thing.
