The vacuum lines from my hubs come out, and route to the radiator core support, then are capped. I found this out when i realized my hubs were constantly locked. I was following lines to check for breaks, only to find my lines stop at the core support. Is there anything i can do, or do i need to do some reading, and create a writeup?

I would not worry about it. At least they are locked.

I'm not worried about it, I just want them to lock and unlock when the transfer case is switched in between 4x4 and 2x4. I'm 17 and drive plenty, but i'm going to wyoming this fall for college. It's a 8-10 hour drive. Fuel economy is a plus.

It costs like .1 MPG. What you save in fuel by bothering to fix it so it "works" (they never actually work) as intended will be far outweighed by the money you spend on parts.

Odds are it was done up like that because some expensive part of the PVH system is broken.

Also, are you 100% certain this is a 2002? A 2002 should have a live axle that has no ability to disconnect the wheel hubs from the differential.

No vacuum hubs on an 02. Those lines going to the rad support are the front ABS wires

alright, thanks guys! I'm mildy pig headed and whatnot. But looking at them again, they do look to be ABS sensors. Yes it is a 2002, stated by the vin with a build date of june 2002. No exact date. Thanks again!

Yeah, I made the mistake of assuming that you actually knew what you were looking at and had taken the wheels off and seen the vac hubs.
