2002 Ranger Edge 4x4 Lift Identification and Tire Size Questions?

Just got a smoking deal on a '02 4x4 with the 4.0 V6 Automatic, 130k. Starting from scratch on the owning a truck thing, the girlfriend made me sell a few motorcycles so I wouldn't die and this was the compromise.

It's got a front lift kit I haven't been able to identify, does anyone know what this lift is?

The rear looks like a 1" block body lift (I think? Feel free to correct my ignorance). The suspension lift looks like about a 2.5" block lift on the leaf springs (Or is this still called a body lift?). The rear's also got a big airbag which I'm unfamiliar with, is this a bed weight capacity thing? Is that conducive to offroading or something I'd want to replace down the road?

I'm looking for mild desert and mountain offroading at first. I'm curious what tire size I can support without changing this setup? It's running 31x10.5R15LT's right now, I'd ideally like to max out with a 33 if possible but I'm reading that the 32x11.5 may be a wiser choice? I think the rims are the upgraded 88'-92' 15x7" judging from the tech guide info (And I dig them!). They've also got what looks like a spacer plate (Or is this a normal mount / bolt pattern adapter or something? Again, ignorant )

Stoked to join the community and get her ready for some camping coming up soon, thanks for any help or tips you guys can provide! I'm got a million other questions but I'll give you guys a rest.

Welcome to TRS. Sorry I don't have much experience with the suspension on that generation. Your truck looks great. It definitely looks like you have wheel spacers installed. I hope you can get 33's on there. They'll look great and help with ground clearance for trail riding.

Suspension looks stock aside from airbags on the rear. The lift block between the axles and springs are factory.

Looks like a small bodylift, what material is that, it almost looks like wood?

Looks like the gap on the front bumper cover would indicate a small body lift.

It also has an Air Lift system on the rear... good stuff. You're gonna want to keep that... will help even out loads.

The rear looks to have the factory blocks under the leafs… it very well may have an add-a-leaf to the factory spring pack.

While I'm sure 32 11.50's will fit those wheels they would probably fit better on an 8 inch wide wheel. I personally would get rid of the wheel spacers... and buy wheels with 3.75 back space.

Is the unit the lower arm bolts into not an aftermarket lift? I assumed it normally bolted into the thing above it and that was added on judging by the factory manuals I've found online. I'm looking at the #10 attachment point here if this is even the right image for my truck.

The small blocks are 1" aluminum with bolts going through them as near as I can tell.

Yes... that is the drop brackets for the suspension lift.

That looks like a wheel adapter to go from 5x4.5” to 5x5.5” bolt pattern.

I was unsure on that too but the old tech collection has identical looking ranger/bronco as the 88-92 upgrade rim. Just got rusted bolts on mine instead of the shiny guys.

They really look like they have a bigger bolt pattern from the picture...
