2002 Ford Ranger battery drain ??

Hi Everyone 2 weeks ago i noticed my battery was dead the first time so i charged my battery to 100 percent and now 2 weeks later my battery was at 0 percent completley dead when i checked my battery.

I checked fuse number 26 and that 10 amp fuse is good still.

I also used a battery terminal cleaner brush on my 2 battery post terminals and my 2 battery clamps.

My dad said for me to take off my positive and positive battery clamps and then charge my battery so right now my battery is charging. My dad said for me to check in a day or two to see if my battery charge has gone down at all.

My dad has alot of automotive vehicle experience and he worked at boeing for 30 years as a funtional test tech.

What does everyone here recommend me check to see if my battery is faulty ?? the battery is not 2 years old made on 8/22 and i made sure everything was off in my ranger when i was done charging last time.

Im 32 years old with mild autism - Thank You for your help.

In a Battery, stray short, situation I generally start with an unplugged battery and touch a cable to a post. A spark there means you are loosing something or have a short.
So if that's the case, you can start from there.
Anything you think may be culprit leave it unplugged on one side of the equation then later touch it to its connection and see if it throws a spark, etc, etc, etc

Going on 6 hours my battery charger has been on my rangers battery still needs to get to 100 percent - i wish my battery charger would hurry up its 3:19am and i want to go to sleep but i have to wait =(

It won't hurt anything for the battery to sit on the charger over night.

A spark there means you are loosing something or have a short.

With all the electronics on these newer vehicles, I've never seen one that didn't spark some. Better off using a multimeter, start pulling fuses, and see where the draw falls off.
