AGSF32FM are fine plugs for this engine, but they still don't last forever. The wasted spark ignition will still burn the center electrodes on 3 of them faster than the others and I've never had luck re-gapping them in other Ford engines with this ignition. Why not replace them? It's not expensive or difficult.
I thought about it, but since nobody else mentioned it, I was gonna stay out of the way.the lowest I can get is 87. 85 has to be mostly kerosene that will make it run rough for sure
The check engine light came on again so I went to O’Reillys and they put their scanner on it. They got code P0171,P0113., And P0102. He said they are 02 sensor, Throttle position sensor, and mass airflow sensor.
P0102 Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input
P0113 Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input
P0171 System too Lean (Bank 1)
p171 - this would lead to rich running. I don't know which side it is but o2 sensors have a life span of 60,000 to 100,000 miles. If they haven't been changed before then at the very least change the front two sensors. The rear two sensors are used to make sure the cat is working and don't have an effect on the engine.
Mass Airflow too low, O2 too lean - could be an air leak downstream of the MAF sensor but in front of the throttle plate, letting in air the MAF does not see. Not sure how the air temp sensor could be involved - it's located near the MAF but it's a separate connector.
Is this a flex fuel truck? If so, and if you put Sea Foam in the fuel system, that may be your problem. The flex fuel sensor sees Sea Foam as alcohol, and dumps a very large amount of gas into the engine since alcohol runs about twice the volume of straight gas to run right. ANY Sea Foam (and potentially any other fuel cleaner/additive) will cause this problem to some extent.
