I just bought a 2001 Ford Ranger xlt v8 swaped for 6500 $ I replaced the Radiator for 500$, Fixed an exhaust leak 300$, put new seats in it 500$, put another bed on it 1000$, Put new wheels and tires on it for 2100$, Put new windshield and tint on side windows on it.
But then found out the the frame is damaged and needs to be replaced for 5500$ estimated. So the entire frame needs to be replaced cause it is bent and has been cut and welded short. So lets say you need to put 6000 into the truck. I personally don't think its safe to drive. I am thinking of selling it back to the previous owner
It has a 2001 Mercury Mountaineer v8 in it with about 128000 mile on it. As well as a rear end 3.73 posi traction
And Mountaineer 4 speed transmission with trans go shift kit installed.
I would like to get back what i put into it but don't think that's going to happen But am wondering what this truck would be worth to the community
Its California legal and passes smog and has all its tags payed for 2025
