Forgive my ignorance. My 2000 ranger was totaled @ a red light by a santa clara police cruiser. I snagged the smittybilt body bars to put on my 2001 ranger. The bolt that was going through the body bushing (?) was threaded on the 2000. On the 2001, it looks more like a pin with no threads and no nut.
How does my cab stay attached if there's no nut? Do I need to rip this pin thingy out for nut/bolt to hold the body bar mountings? Thanks much for any
insight anybody can provide!!!
Mark

The end of the bolt is a pilot. There is a nut up in there. If you have things to bolt on at the bottom you need different bolts.

Well, if there's a nut up in there, I can't see it. An i don't see how a deep well
would get to it any way. How do I remove this bolt or pin?
Thanks

Nevermind. I lifted the carpet and I see how to remove these.
You're right, it's a bolt with a long lead and it screws into a washer/threaded tube integrated thing. Thanks.
