Ive been reading on this site for a while now and one of the first thing I found out about 2000 rangers is that the hubs were switched half way through the production year. So I nervously went out to my truck and took the cap off the rim and saw that I had live axles. This is weird because the date on the door sticker says 03/00 which should have PVH hubs. i guess someone before me switched the hubs for live axles? I do have 4w abs
Anyways heres my question. My wheel bearing went bad in my drivers side hub.
can I use a explorer hub from a junk yard or should get a new hub? money is kinda tight so im looking for the cheepest way to fix this.
Also should i change both hubs at the same time or is it ok to change one and not the other?
