2000 Ranger Trailhead

Hi , got a 2000 Ranger Trailhead. Replaced the large connector under the seat (C309?) . Reconnected battery and ran fine,once I turn off truck then turn back on check engine light will come on after @ 1 minute. This can be repeated over & over. Any ideas why light will stay off until truck is restarted ?

Have you had the code(s) pulled?

When you hook up the scan tool there are no codes even with the check engine light on , it just reads "no information"
