This is my Ranger. It is pretty plain totally stock and it's been a nightmare since I got it. All kinds of problems and dropped a buncha money in it. But the bugs are almost all worked out. What do you all think? What are some mods a poor boy could make? Can't afford tires and rims right now. Really want to lift it and get rims and tires......maybe someday.

Will 31's fit with no lift?

What do you do about the back? That will only raise the front right?

You have my dream truck..

A few months back I would have almost given it away. But I am growing attached to it. I just wish I knew more about trucks and all this.

Thats what I wanted before I bought my ranger, a 4x4 Stepside Supercab. Although I would have wanted a manual tranny. Better gas that way with the 4x4. I ended up getting a 2wd supercab..

I stuffed 33s under my '00 step side 4x4 stock. The torsion bar crank helps out a bit. I fit 35s with a body lift.

A good mod would be to ditch the stock rear blocks and run extended shackles.

What would be a good extended shackle to get? How much will this raise the back? Like I said, this is all new to me. Thanks.

AND during the mods if you decide that a standard bed is what you want, instead of the little step side bed, let me know.
I have a standard bed for swapping.

Nice Truck,

31's will fit bone stock , and i would buy the belltech 6400 shackles

this is my truck , almost identical to yours , on 31's

I have a torsion cranck and some helper springs in the rear. My stock 245/75-16's look pretty small now. If you crank them quite a bit get some helper springs or add-a-leafs some your looking at the road and not the sky. I wanna pick up some 265/75-16 soon when my bfg at's are done for.

Good looking truck. I have a 99 Ranger 4x4 Sport just like that. Only thing thats different is it green and the trim is painted to match the body. I cant stand those chrome grills.

nice truck!! good u are fixin the issues and keeping it :)
quick question here: can i fit 31x10.50LT tires on my stock 2WD?? i have 15" rims
and i want to give him a mean look, i allready have a bull bar , thanks and PM me if anybody wants to answer
