My left rear tail light comes on, but my brake light and turn signal do not work. Anyone know what may be wrong. would like to avoid costly labor..

Check the ground wires. They have different grounds than taillight.

bulbs were the first thing i checked. was surprised that was not it. ground wires? any more info on them? I am only just learning about fixing my ranger and have very little electric experience. Thanks.

I don't think ground wires would matter would they?

I'm probably wrong though... lol.

Could that maybe be a relay?

from what I have been able to research, it sounds like a relay, not a ground wire, however, I am open to opinions...anyway..

Where is the relay? I have heard in the fuse box, but I did not see it..

Uhm... I think in that truck it could be over on the passenger side, right to the right of where your feet would be... just pull the panel off and see. I never got in depth with my 2000 when I had it, so I'm trying to think about that stuff with little success.

Awesome...any input you may have will help. All I have been able to find is with anything BUT a 2000. I know this should be a simple fix.....Will check it in the morning and update...however, if anything comes to mind..please share..
Thanks!
