If the rail bolt holes (or drilled out rivets) line up to the seatbase, I don't see why not.
The recline lever will be on the wrong side though.
Personally, I'd search the junkyards for a driver seat from an Explorer. That's what I put in my 2wd 2000 (that I gave my son). It had all power, plus an electric pump to inflate the lumbar pad. All I had to do was run a fused wire and a ground. I added a terminal to the ground point that is already under the seat, and I did have to pull up the carpet from the side to get to that.
I want to say any 95-2003 Explorer seat will bolt right in. l had to drill out the holes bigger, now that I think about it.
I should also mention pre-soaking and then heating those bolts before you try to break them loose. I had all 4 rear bolts snap.
I have Tan leather power seat from a 99 Explorer in my truck I`m selling this seat and some people just don`t have the money to spend a nice seat and someone asked me if they would swap .
