2000 Ranger fuses?

i bought a used ranger and just put my stereo in , but now i noticed that the brake light on the back of the cab doesnt work. does that light run through the stereo hook-ups becuase i know that the dash lights do and i am trying to figure out if i need to replace the light or check out the wires????

The CHMSL brake bulb should be unrelated to the radio. I would check fuse 13 in the dash box, then the bulb.
