2000 B3000 tranny issues..

2000 B3000 4x4 auto w/ 140k

Truck was shifting hard into 2nd gear, and hanging in 2nd not shifting to third.

Tranny slipping uphill at highway speeds.

The garage replaced the speed sensor, solenoid B, and filter kit.

Truck now shifts okay in low gears, but at 75 mahogany the speedometer goes crazy swinging up and down, then just settles on 0, speedo comes back to life as speed lowers.

In addition, when engine under load (uphill) at 75-80, the tach will redline, and there is no power.. until speed decreases.

How many solenoids are there to replace? Another issue?

Pull the codes and see if you still have speed sensor issues. Even though they replaced the sensor.
