First off any input on this thread will greatly be appreciated! My 2000 4.0 4x4 automatic has finally drove me to seek help! It starts up and runs fine as long as the abs/vss sensor on the rear end is unplugged. When the abs/vss sensor is plugged in it will get up to about 25mph or so and then the speedo will rapidly jump to over 90mph and the truck dies! It will start right back up but only to do the exact same thing. Already replaced abs/vss sensor and speedo cluster. Which made NO difference! Could the abs or pcm modules be causing this? Plan on having it scanned next week to see if any codes show up. There are no warning lights on or flashing on the instrument cluster. Also I'm guessing about the 25mph cause the speedo does not read correctly. Thanks again!
