Rear hanger rusted off and I having hell getting the the bolt out of the spring it self its Rusted in place even took a air hammer to it and it won`t move should I put soom heat to and burn it out , I have no way in taking off the bed so I`m just alittle :annoyed: , has anyone done this ?

I have had success using a ball joint press to get them out. I pull on the spring to get it down far enough to have good access to it, then stick a block of wood between it and the frame to hold it down. Put the ball joint press over it and ram it down. Something will come apart enough for you to be able to continue and finish the job.

Thanks for the info Monsterchuck
my oldest son has my ball joint press waitting on me to come over and fix his truck said he might get dirty( Moms boy, raised by her ) just took the torch to it slowly just soften up the rubber then a few smack with a hammer out it came just dont like putting heat to something if you dont have to.
