2000 4.0l ohv heads?

Hello all,I have done a couple searchs with not really much luck.My 2000 ranger consumes coolant and I have read cracked heads are a common problem with the ohv 4.0l engines.I am about to buy new gaskets and heads and I have come across different "castings?".Which ones are the best to get or the least prone to cracking?Sorry if this has been asked a million times.Also,are the head bolts a torque to yield? or can they be re-used?Are fel pro head bolts good?Thanks.
