Ok so got the engine out and on the stand and tore apart. Just as I thought the timminf chains guides are wasted and in a million pieces. Almost blew the engine by clogging the oil screen. So now my question is has anyone ever installed a new timing set without the specal tools? And were do I buy them? They look expensive as heck and I'll never use then again after I'm done with this engine. Any help out there?
