Hello! I am new to the Ranger Station & I hail from GA. I'm planning my first Ranger truck and so far I have selected the 1987 Ranger 4WD with auto tranny & extended cab. I would like to swap in a Ford 200 I6 but am concerned about the transmission with the 4WD. What issues will I have?

The Ranger has to have an automatic transmission as my wife will not drive a manual transmission. I plan on using it for some off-roading and city driving. Goal is to get 20+ MPG.
