200-4R Chevy automatic into a Ranger?

Found a great older writeup from Jefe on the 700R4. I was hoping to find some info on the smalled chevy auto to put into my 92 Ranger with 4.0 OHV.

I know it is strong enough or can be made so without great expense. Just not sure what the difference would be to mount it. It has a smaller body the the 700 with a closer gear ratio between shifts.

I am in the process of rebuilding my 4.0 and figured I'd better start searching trans options too.

I have chevy's and ford's and like both. But I say keep chevy chevy and ford ford. Just my 2 cents
