Hi guys and gals, I just purchased a new '22 Lariat Crew 4x4. I have 1600 miles on it at this time. A week ago I was on the highway in the rain traveling at 65mph when I noticed my feet were getting wet. I looked down and water was flowing in from under the dash and filling my weather tech mats. THEN, all of a sudden the truck went immediately Into the right hand lane with me having limited control as to where it went. I ended up on the shoulder simply because that's where the truck took me. After getting g out and looking around the truck thinking I had a bad tire, I noticed the front right tire was cambered in at the top. Looking closer I noticed the upper control arm ball joint nut had come off (unscrewed, not stripped or broken).
My question, does someone here have an email address to the plant manager at Michigan Truck.

BTW, I'm a retired skill trades pipefitter from Kentucky Truck. I talked to our liason for employee care and all she was able to do is get my truck in to be repaired sooner than they were going to.The last pic is of all the water on the floor mat.

Wow. Thats crazy but i bet it happens more than we know, stuff not getting torqued down and coming loose.

Welcome to the club

This little mistake could have had a completely different outcome if there had been a vehicle in the right hand lane or a vehicle on the right shoulder.
