Wheel spacers just wake the wheels sit further out... to avoid rubbing... so no.

Have had a 2" set on the front of my work truck for over 3 years. Check the torque often, no issues, stock wheel bearings.

Just because you can do it, doesn't mean its a good idea......

Uhm, for what purpose are you adding spacers? That's a lot of space...

Yep. They sure are.

And some are bigger than others.

2" is a **** ton of spacer. Its a stupid idea.

Do you actual have experience with them?
If you remember to torque them often it should be fine. Just do it every oil change and rotate ur tires at the same time.

Its 2 freaking inches... Your putting a lot of stress on parts not designed for that stress.

Its not like he's talking about 1/2" spacers here...

Like another guy just said, it's the same as an offset rim.
I have 15x10s with -38mm offset. Vs stock 15x7 with +12mm.
That's like 4" right there. Sooo many people do it with no issues.
It is fine.

The question still at hand, is WHY?

I'm not judging...three of my four vehicles all have wheel spacers...1" minimum....

On my '85 Ranger, I use Jeep Grizzly wheels...15x7, with almost 50mm offset....didn't workout too well, when I tried to bolt 'em up...

I bought 1.75" spacers to bring the offset back to where it should be, on my truck, and to overcome a huge interference with the hub bore...

They work great...

I also race a '79 Volvo 242 16-ValveTurbo....It sits on 17" BMW DS-2 Wheels...I had to use lug adapting spacers for this, so it's 25mm front and 32mm rear...

Even with all my hard cornering and tail sliding, I'm yet to experience anything other than normal.

Yull be able to fit these under the truck. I put in my 1.5'' spacer in '11 when I bought the truck new, the below picture is with the Stock tire size and no lift. My bearing are still good!
