2 Different upper control arms?

recently i noticed that i had two different upper control arms on my 2000 4x4 and was wondering if that was something that was normal?

if so why would they be different?

yep thats normal and how they come from factory. i belive it has to do with adjusting the caster on the pass side. i thought the same thing when i found that on my 99' years back.

theyre supposed to be like that. i dont know what the reasoning is but when looking them up in my parts cataloging (i work for Auto Value) they show a right and a left and they look just like yours.

Its there to adjust the caster to the same spec as the driver's side. Completely Normal.

I was also wondering on the passenger side upper control arm (ball joint?) there is a bushing that looks cracked and busted

how bad does it look?

how hard is it to fix, if it needs it?

Ya i agree it is defiantly time. i am looking at some 33'' bfg m/t's because i just got a body lift that i am putting on this weekend.

You can get replacement upper control arm bushings from the parts store.
