What did I do to piss you off? My comment wasn't directed at you specifically, just those who gut/remove the cats in general. You misunderstood if you thought that I was calling you broke.
FoMoCo obviously put 2 cats on there for a reason, whatever that may be. And you even said you weren't doing it for performance, so what's the point?

Catalytic converters are expensive. We all know this, and this is why they frequently get stolen. So, if Ford could have saved a TON of money by putting just 1 cat on the truck instead of 2....don't you think they would have??? There's a reason your truck has 2.

Then you obviously haven't seen many cars. I'd say the majority of cars now have 2 (or more) cats.

btw theres way worse things for the environment

Just because there are things happening that are bad for the environment, doesn't make it OK for you to contribute to it. Sure, you alone gutting your cat isn't gonna make a noticeable impact on the environment...it's the millions of other people who have the same mentality as you.
