would a 2" body lift from an earlier ranger work on my 2007? i know the bumper brackets would be different and maybe the shift ext. but would the blocks and bolts work?? if i could get the blocks and bolts to work i could fab up some bumper brackets pretty easy

no bumper brackets on the 1st gen bl's. with only 2", no extensions were needed either. somewhere here, i forget which forum, there is a link to a company that sells individual 1" lift blocks so you can make your own lift. handy for those guys wanting to even out the body line on the later gen rangers. good luck.

performance accesories, you can get them from 4wheelparts for $1 each, be sure to get the 1"x3" ones though

yeah ive seen the individual blocks, but would the bolts be the right length in the kit you think?

if you buy a complete kit, the correct length bolts will be included. as yours is a much later model than mine, i'm not real sure if you'll need more than that. you may have to purchase extensions for steering, shifter, etc. just so you know.

i know the box is the same thats easy but have the basic cab mounts changed any? do you have to reposition the rad mounts etc..

i didn't on my 1st gen ranger, but yours could be quite different. especially if it has an auto tranny with a cooler up front or anything like that. i know the steering shaft mountings have changed, so i can't help much there. as for shifter extensions, they are just that and should bolt up similarly.

i know on my buddys dak they put a 3" puck lift and didnt bother with a steering ext. and it seems fine, so just maybe i 2" body on mine wouldnt need a steering ext...it is a manual tran. in mine...so just maybe it could all work if i rigged up some bumper brackets?...

98-up are all the same.
